U42-24CAT Amber LED Warning Beacon provides amber hazard warning for traffic control vehicles, civil construction vehicles, council fleets and contractor trucks operating in live traffic and worksite environments. The beacon signals vehicle presence during lane closures, mobile works, roadside maintenance and site access activity where nearby traffic, pedestrians and workers need vehicle movement awareness.

The beacon uses a two-part mounting system consisting of a fixed base ring and a removable beacon body. The base ring is permanently mounted to the vehicle using a three-point fixing pattern on trays, headboards, roof racks or dedicated mounting plates. The beacon body is then positioned onto the base and rotated to lock into place, allowing the unit to be removed or replaced without disturbing the mounted base hardware.

The internal LED system uses a 24 LED single-colour configuration, delivering multiple selectable flash patterns including ECE R65 Class 2 modes. The amber output is projected through a clear high dome lens, maintaining a neutral appearance when not active while delivering full amber warning function when energised. Pattern change, dimming and steady-on functions are controlled through external wiring inputs.

Constructed for exposed vehicle environments, the unit is rated to IP65 and operates across 12V to 48V DC systems. The housing supports continuous use in vibration, dust and weather exposure, with an operating temperature range of -30°C to +50°C and storage range down to -40°C.
