Stepmate is an Australian-designed tow bar access step that makes it easier to reach ute trays, canopies, toolboxes, roof racks and rear cargo areas while a trailer remains connected.

The step is designed to fit around the tow ball and remain installed on the tow bar tongue, so it is ready to use whenever rear vehicle access is required. Installation requires no drilling and uses the existing tow ball mounting arrangement.

Manufactured from 4mm high-grade black steel, Stepmate is zinc nickel plated and powder coated to provide enhanced corrosion resistance and a durable exterior finish for regular vehicle and towing use.

When correctly installed and used in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions, Stepmate is designed to support loads of up to 240kg.
