Oversize Load Ahead Sign is a double-sided vehicle-mounted pilot sign used to provide advance warning when oversize loads are being moved on public roads. It is fitted to pilot and escort vehicles to alert road users from both directions that an oversize vehicle or load is ahead.

The sign lifts from a flat stowed position using two gas struts, allowing it to be raised for use during pilot vehicle operations and folded down when not required. The right-hand gas strut locks out to help keep the sign upright while deployed.

The sign face uses reflective material to AS1906-1-1990 and is built with a powder-coated frame for vehicle-mounted use. The white powder-coated finish provides a clean, professional appearance when fitted to roof racks, ute headboards or dedicated mounting points.

Multiple mounting holes are provided to suit different vehicle setups, including roof racks and ute headboards. Removable beacon brackets are included for fitting warning lights where required, with warning lights sold separately.

In real-world use, this sign is used by pilot and escort vehicles supporting oversize load movements, agricultural machinery transport, heavy equipment relocation and other road movements where advance warning to approaching road users is required.
