MGX H5 5W IP67 UHF/LMR Hybrid Handheld is a portable two-way communication device used by traffic controllers, civil crews, contractors and field operators who need handheld radio contact across active worksites, plant movements and day-to-day site coordination.

The MGX H5 is a handheld, battery-powered radio designed for on-foot use rather than fixed vehicle installation. It is carried by individual operators while directing traffic, moving through work areas, coordinating deliveries or working around machinery, with USB-C charging and desktop charging supporting shift-based use between tasks.

This unit delivers 5W output and operates as a UHF LMR and CB hybrid handheld with 80 CB channels and 128 LMR channels, plus an LMR frequency range of 450 to 520MHz. It also includes replay, active noise cancelling on receive, a programmable smart button, priority channel, dual watch, selcall and CTCSS/DCS functions to support clearer communication across mixed worksite and fleet environments.

The radio uses a die-cast alloy chassis with IP67 ingress protection, a colour VA display, built-in speaker and 2500mAh battery.
