The B Class LED Arrow Board Double Sided is a double-sided vehicle-mounted B Class LED traffic control arrow board used where directional guidance or hazard warning display is required from both the rear and front of a traffic control vehicle. It is suited to traffic control vehicles, convoy vehicles, mobile works vehicles, civil fleet vehicles, utility vehicles, contractor vehicles and temporary traffic management vehicle fitouts where traffic may approach or view the vehicle from more than one direction.

The double-sided board is based on the same UAGS B Class arrow board platform as the single-sided model. The single-sided platform has been tested by a NATA-accredited laboratory as part of the NSW RTA / RMS FAS/5 approval process. This double-sided version uses the same core manufacture platform and components, with the addition of 15 LED clusters, an additional controller cable and a second internal controller card for the forward-facing display.

The double-sided configuration should be confirmed against the supplied product documentation, current standards, project requirements, applicable traffic management documentation and road authority conditions. Product selection, installation and use do not make a vehicle, worksite, traffic management plan, traffic guidance scheme or traffic setup compliant on their own.

The arrow board may be fitted to a suitable cabin rack, traffic control cage, tray headboard, tray-mounted frame, rear tray structure or other compatible vehicle mounting structure. Final mounting must be confirmed against the vehicle setup, mounting structure, project requirements and applicable traffic management documentation. Installation must be completed by a qualified auto electrician.

The double-sided board has a 1500mm x 770mm display area, a 1545mm x 770mm mounting footprint and 30 LED clusters total, with 15 LED clusters per side. Display modes include Arrow Left, Arrow Right, Double Arrow and Hazard, with Hazard mode used as the non-directional warning / flashing corner mode. The flash rate is 35–45 cycles per minute and luminous intensity is greater than 700 cd.

The system includes two in-cabin touch controllers with illuminated buttons and swivel mounting brackets, one for rear display control and one for forward display control. Controller buttons include On/Off, Work Light, Beacon, Raise, Lower, Arrow Left, Arrow Right, Double Arrow and Hazard. The controllers use illuminated button feedback, with green for standby / ready and red for active functions. The electric actuator allows the board to be raised and lowered from inside the cabin.

Both internal controller cards are housed within the same board body, with service access from the rear-facing side of the board. Because the double-sided model is based on the same UAGS B Class arrow board manufacture platform as the single-sided model, many core service parts are shared or interchangeable to support fleet servicing, spare parts management and long-term maintenance for customers running mixed arrow board fleets.

The arrow board is supplied standard with a 12V DC actuator, with a 24V DC actuator available on request for suitable 24V vehicle systems. Confirm the required vehicle voltage before ordering. The integrated light sensor supports automatic dimming for day and night operation. The system includes short-circuit protection, solid-state circuitry, low-voltage monitoring, reverse polarity protection, over-voltage protection and fail-safe behaviour that defaults to Hazard mode during communication loss or low-voltage fault.

The enclosure is IP54 rated and uses a weather-resistant vented design to assist with internal air movement and condensation management. The product is assembled in Australia using locally manufactured structural components with imported electrical systems and actuator hardware, supporting practical servicing and integration into UAGS traffic control vehicle fitouts.

Is vehicle fitment or installation included?
