7-Light Sequential Rechargeable LED Warning Light Kit | Cone & Magnetic Mount
Quick Description
Seven rechargeable sequential LED warning lights supplied in a dedicated carry and charging case. Each ring-shaped light slides over a compatible traffic cone and also includes three underside magnets for mounting to suitable ferrous metal surfaces. The 7-Light Sequential Rechargeable LED Warning Light Kit is a portable warning and illuminated delineation system used across traffic management, civil construction, transport, trucking, utilities, mining, infrastructure and roadside operations. Each rechargeable light provides 360-degree visible LED output and offers five sequential and flashing operating modes.
Each light has a low-profile, ring-shaped housing with an open centre. For cone mounting, the light slides over the top of a compatible traffic cone and sits around the upper section of the cone. Multiple lights can be positioned along a line of cones to reinforce a taper, lane shift, merge, temporary traffic path or work zone boundary as part of a suitable traffic management setup.
The open-centre mounting design allows each light to be installed directly over a compatible cone without clips, brackets or magnetic attachment to the cone. Cone compatibility depends on the dimensions and shape of the cone, so fitment should be checked before the lights are deployed.
Each light also has three magnets fitted to its underside, providing a separate mounting option for suitable ferrous metal surfaces. This allows the lights to be temporarily attached to compatible steel vehicle panels, machinery, barriers and worksite equipment where the surface material, shape and condition provide secure magnetic contact. The magnets will not attach to plastic traffic cones or non-ferrous surfaces such as aluminium or fibreglass.
The five available operating modes support sequential guidance and general flashing warning applications. When the lights are arranged in order, the sequential modes can provide progressive visual guidance along the deployed path. The flashing modes can be used for general hazard marking, roadside work, temporary vehicle stops, loading areas and other operations requiring an additional illuminated warning device.
Each orange light contains 30 × 2835 SMD LEDs, an internal 3.7V 2200mAh rechargeable lithium battery and integrated fluorescent yellow-green reflective sections. Approximate operating time ranges from 8 to 50 hours depending on the selected mode, with an approximate charging time of 6 to 7 hours. Battery condition, charging history and operating conditions may affect actual runtime.
The impact-resistant PC and TPR housing carries an IPX7 water resistance rating, making the lights suitable for outdoor operating conditions where exposure to rain and wet environments may occur. IPX7 relates to water resistance and does not indicate a dust protection rating.
The seven lights are supplied in a dedicated carry and charging case with an individual storage and charging position for each light. A mains power charger and vehicle car charger are included, allowing the kit to be recharged from a suitable mains power outlet or compatible vehicle power socket. This provides flexibility for charging at a depot, workshop, office or from a suitable vehicle between deployments.
The organised case keeps the seven lights and charging equipment together during storage and transport. It also supports faster deployment and pack-down by providing a dedicated position for each light and the included charging equipment.
The CL7-01 kit is suitable for traffic management crews, truck operators, civil contractors, utilities, fleet operators and roadside service teams requiring a portable lighting system that can be deployed on compatible cones or suitable steel surfaces.
This product is a supplementary warning and illuminated delineation system. It does not replace required traffic signs, traffic control devices, vehicle warning systems or an approved Traffic Management Plan. Product selection, placement and use should be confirmed against the applicable traffic management plan, project requirements, site conditions and relevant road authority requirements.
Sequential Warning Light Kit FAQs
How do the lights mount to a traffic cone?
The open centre of each ring-shaped light slides over the top of a compatible traffic cone. The light then sits around the upper section of the cone. It does not clip onto the cone and the underside magnets are not used for cone mounting.
Will the lights fit every traffic cone?
No. Compatibility depends on the dimensions and shape of the cone, including whether its upper section can pass through the centre opening and support the light correctly. Fitment should be checked before the lights are deployed.
What are the three magnets underneath each light used for?
The three underside magnets provide a separate mounting option for suitable ferrous metal surfaces. The lights may be temporarily attached to compatible steel vehicle panels, machinery, barriers and worksite equipment where the surface allows secure magnetic contact.
Will the magnets attach to aluminium, plastic or fibreglass?
No. The magnets require a suitable ferrous metal surface. They will not magnetically attach to plastic traffic cones, aluminium, fibreglass or other non-ferrous materials.
Can the lights be mounted to a vehicle?
The lights can be temporarily attached to suitable steel vehicle surfaces using the three underside magnets. Compatibility depends on the vehicle panel material, shape, finish and condition. Many vehicle panels and bodies may contain aluminium, plastic or composite materials, which are not suitable for magnetic mounting.
How do the sequential modes work?
When the lights are arranged in order, the sequential modes can provide progressive visual guidance along the deployed path. This may assist in reinforcing a cone taper, lane shift, merge or temporary traffic path. Placement and use should follow the relevant traffic management plan and project requirements.
Can the lights also operate as general flashing warning lights?
Yes. The five available operating modes include sequential and flashing functions. This allows the kit to be used for progressive visual guidance or general illuminated hazard marking, depending on the selected mode and application.
Do all seven lights need to be used together?
The lights can be deployed in a suitable arrangement for the application. Sequential guidance generally requires multiple lights to be positioned in order, while individual lights may be used for general flashing warning or hazard marking where appropriate.
How long will each light operate between charges?
Approximate operating time is 8 to 50 hours per light depending on the selected operating mode. Battery condition, charging history, temperature and operating conditions may affect actual runtime.
How long does the kit take to charge?
Approximate charging time is 6 to 7 hours. The carry and charging case provides an individual charging position for each of the seven lights.
Can the kit be charged from mains power?
Yes. A mains power charger is included, allowing the charging case to be connected to a suitable mains power outlet.
Can the kit be charged from a vehicle?
Yes. A vehicle car charger is included for connection to a compatible vehicle power socket. The vehicle electrical system and power socket must be suitable for the supplied charger.
Are both chargers included with the kit?
Yes. The kit includes both a mains power charger and a vehicle car charger, along with the carry and charging case and seven rechargeable warning lights.
What is included with the kit?
The kit includes seven rechargeable LED warning lights, a dedicated carry and charging case, a mains power charger and a vehicle car charger.
What does the IPX7 rating mean?
IPX7 is a water resistance rating. It indicates protection against temporary water immersion under the conditions covered by that rating. It does not confirm a dust protection rating, and the lights should still be used, charged and stored in accordance with the supplied operating instructions.
Are the fluorescent yellow-green sections illuminated?
The fluorescent yellow-green sections are reflective sections rather than the primary LED light source. The LED output is provided through the dedicated light sections around the housing.
Is the kit a replacement for traffic signs or other required warning equipment?
No. This kit is a supplementary warning and illuminated delineation system. It does not replace required traffic signs, traffic control devices, vehicle warning systems or an approved Traffic Management Plan.
