Manual Reset Circuit Breaker (50A) protects a single vehicle electrical circuit by interrupting current during overload or fault conditions and providing manual isolation when required. It is used in vehicle electrical systems supplying accessory circuits on traffic control vehicles, civil fleet, utility vehicles and service bodies where a compact, resettable protection device is required.

This breaker is installed inline on the positive supply cable between the battery and the protected accessory or distribution circuit. It is surface mounted to panels, trays, canopies or electrical mounting boards and connects via #10-32 (5-6mm) threaded studs, allowing ring terminal cable connections suited to 6mm or 1/4 inch lugs. The compact footprint allows installation in confined spaces where larger breakers are not suitable.

During normal operation, the breaker maintains circuit continuity up to its 50A rating across 12–32V DC systems. If current exceeds the rated threshold, the internal mechanism trips and opens the circuit. Power remains interrupted until the fault is rectified and the breaker is manually reset, restoring circuit operation without replacing a fuse.

The housing is constructed from UL94V-0 rated thermal plastic and is designed for vehicle environments exposed to vibration, dust and moisture. With an IP66 rating and protective stud insulators, the unit supports installation in exposed service areas, trays and electrical compartments where reliable sealing and connection protection are required.

This breaker is compatible with 12V and 24V vehicle systems and is used for single-circuit protection in auxiliary power distribution, lighting circuits, warning equipment, compressors and accessory feeds where a compact breaker with smaller terminal size is required as part of the electrical layout.

In real vehicle installations, this type of breaker is commonly used on traffic control utes, civil fleet and service vehicles where space is limited and smaller cable sizes are used, including circuits supplying beacons, work lights, radios, charging outlets and low to medium load accessories requiring resettable protection.
