The TM1-V105 / TM1-51B Ahead - 1200x300mm corflute sign panel is used as an add-on message in temporary traffic control to clarify what is coming next. It is commonly installed under or alongside a primary warning or regulatory panel to reinforce the sequence, giving drivers earlier, clearer notice and improving compliance through the work zone.

In real-world deployments, this panel is regularly used during roadworks, lane closures, temporary speed zones, and changed traffic conditions where the message needs an extra lead-in. For example, it is often paired with signs like Roadwork, Prepare to Stop, Reduce Speed, Queued Traffic, Traffic Lights (SYM), or Lane Closed to create a clear staged warning.

In Multi-Message Sign Frame No. 1 (3-panel display), the Ahead panel is typically used as the bottom 1200x300mm panel beneath two 600x600mm panels, or beneath a single 1200x600mm panel, to complete the message sequence without crowding the main instruction.

Manufactured in Australia from 6mm plastic flute board and finished with Class 1W full-cube prismatic retroreflective sheeting, it features a black “AHEAD” legend on a retroreflective yellow background for strong daytime and night-time visibility.

Compliance: AS 1742 & AS 1743 compliant. Reflective sheeting meets AS/NZS 1906.1 Class 1W, with optional RTA NSW Class 1X and DTMR QLD Class 1X specifications where required.
