Manual Reset Circuit Breaker (50A) protects a single vehicle electrical circuit by interrupting current when the circuit is overloaded and allowing manual isolation when the circuit needs to be disconnected for inspection, service or fault checking. It is used in vehicle power systems where controlled reset and circuit protection are required for higher-current accessory feeds.

The breaker is surface mounted close to the battery, auxiliary battery, breaker panel or power distribution point, depending on the fitout layout. It connects inline on the positive feed between the power source and the load-side wiring, with cable lugs secured to the 9.5mm stainless steel studs.

During normal operation, current passes through the breaker to the connected circuit. If the circuit overloads, the breaker interrupts the feed, and power can only be restored once the fault has been checked and the manual reset is operated.

The IP67 rating supports installation in exposed vehicle areas where dust, water and road grime may be present. The stainless steel stud hardware suits vehicle electrical layouts that are subject to vibration, heat and regular field use.

The breaker is rated for 12–72V DC systems and a 50A circuit. It is used where the connected cable, load and downstream equipment are matched to the circuit protection rating.

In traffic control vehicles, civil fleet utes, utility service vehicles and trailers, this breaker is commonly fitted to protect accessory distribution panels, beacon circuits, work light feeds, arrow board supplies and auxiliary equipment circuits that need a resettable isolation point.
