The RM4-1A(40) 40 Speed Limit - 600x600mm corflute sign is used to set and reinforce temporary reduced speed zones around roadworks, construction sites, traffic control setups, and changed traffic conditions. It gives drivers a clear legal instruction to slow down, helping reduce braking events, minimise near misses, and protect workers and road users.
Commonly used during resurfacing, line marking, utility trenching, and shoulder works where traffic needs extra stopping distance and more time to react. In a Multi-Message Sign Frame No. 1, this sign is often paired with an upper warning panel such as Roadwork Ahead, Prepare To Stop, or Queued Traffic Ahead to create a staged message. The bottom 1200x300 panel is typically used for context like Next [..]km, On Side Road, or a blank yellow panel to keep the display clean and compliant.
Made in Australia from 6mm corflute and finished with Class 1W full-cube prismatic retroreflective sheeting, it features a black "40" on a retroreflective white background with a retroreflective red annulus for strong day and night recognition in wet and low light conditions.
Compliance: Made to AS 1742 and AS 1743. Reflective sheeting meets AS/NZS 1906.1 Class 1W, with options meeting RTA NSW Class 1X and DTMR QLD Class 1X.

Due to the temporary nature of corflute signage and its use in outdoor environments, this product includes a limited warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship present at the time of delivery.
This warranty applies only to signs that are unused, unmodified, and stored under normal conditions. It does not cover wear and tear, weathering, UV degradation, fading, accidental damage, transport or handling damage after delivery, or incorrect or improper installation.
Warranty claims must be submitted within 30 days of purchase and are subject to inspection and approval. Please contact our support team with your order reference to lodge a claim.
